Protecting Irvington Village and All Irvington Public Schools

Irvington Volunteer Ambulance Corps (IVAC) provides the primary 911 ambulance service to the entire Village of Irvington including:

  • All Irvington Public Schools

  • Irvington Train Station

  • Ardsley-on-Hudson Train Station

  • Saw Mill River Parkway

  • Hudson River

  • Ardsley Country Club

Helping Our Neighbors

When our neighboring ambulance agencies are committed serving other emergencies and an additional 911 call is received, IVAC often responds to other villages to provide 911 ambulance services according to pre-determined mutual aid plans.

 

If you see an Irvington ambulance attending to an emergency in a neighboring village, know that this is a normal occurrence and that agencies outside of Irvington provide the same mutual aid assistance into Irvington at times.
